Yes, it is. And you can run a good long way too - AND swim. There's the boating pond, and failing that - what could be better than the Serpentine? Love Plum xx
Don't you think this is the most beautiful of the London parks? (It certainly looks so here.) On summer evenings I am sometimes to be found sitting against one of these trees having a sandwich before going to the Proms. Wonderful times.. New Dog Update! I haven't been able to do anything yet because for months I've been booked in to have a friend's dog while she's away in Australia. Molly is finally due to arrive for her stay with me on Saturday, so perhaps after that I will be able to move on. She is part poodle, like you. It will be good to have a certain Plum-esque ambience about the place. James x
Oh, that's very good news, James. I expect you will have a lovely time with Molly. Yes, Kensington Gardens is really nice. I like to breathe in the rarified air there and see how the other half live. I half expected the dogs there to be too smart to want to talk to me but it wasn't like that at all. I made several friends who even had pedigrees! Love Plum xx
Dear Plum My human mum oftens wonders who my mother and father was. It's confusing because she thinks there's poodle, whippet and something else, maybe Bedlington but that makes three breeds. Anyway she says I have a split personality. I like cuddles and quiet in the house but my human mum and dad think I'm bonkers outside. I admit I do like to run like the wind and forget where I am. Dad got very cross with me yesterday because I smelt a delicious rabbit and ran after it and he thought he'd never see me again. Oh and I do like to dig to reach the centre of the earth on the beach and kill my toys. They don't last long. Keep looking. Love Alf
Dear Alf, You sound EXACTLY like me. I have at least three things too because my mum is half Jack Russell and half whippet. Everyone says my dad must have been a poodle, or part poodle, maybe a snoodle. And I have all the same interests as you, and about a hundred wrecked toys. But I still love them, as long as they are good enough for tug-of-war. Love Plum xx
Maybe you have seen him Plum, but you didn't recognize him because you were so much smaller at your moment of conception. Something to think about anyway. Even if you don't see him you still have Emma and your Dad, and they seem much nicer to live with, even with Emma's strange poop collection habit she has started.
I did think about that but I didn't really understand, Gracie. Do you mean I saw him in my other life before this one? If so, I wish I could remember. I'm happy to tell you that Emma only collected poo for one day. Since then she has been reasonably normal, though I wish she didn't sing when we're out walking. We get some very strange looks. Love Plum xx
It's a very beautiful place to run though - worth a good stroll up to the Albert Memorial...

Love it, so fun! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Jess. xx
DeleteThink of it as the Great Daddy Search adventure... Maybe next time!
ReplyDeleteDon't give up, Plum!
Ellie
I'll never give up, Ellie. We are going to do a DNA test. Then I'll have a better idea of who to look for.
