We don't know why you're so surprised - we've been expecting this for some time and looking forward to your yearly, beautifully illustrated report from the lochs and glens. Have a wonderful holiday and try the vegetarian haggis if you get a chance! James and Katie x
Dear Plum, This is so exciting! You have come to rescue me! I tried to get to Saxmundham after our last correspondence, but it was too hard to read the platform numbers and I was re-captured in Bury St Edmund's. So I was whisked away ( in a car, not that funny box thing) and her I am in SCOTLAND. I have at least found some of my missing sleeping spots (favourite chair and nice smelly shoes) but everything else is very strange. All that wet stuff you are so fond of is right outside our window....and sometimes it tries to get inside through it. I do quite like digging up the stones, but then it creeps up behind me when I'm not looking! In fact, you would really, really like it here - maybe we should just swap mums?
Lots of love from Fudge xxxx PS. There are NO shops! Send treats! Xx
Dear Fudge, Where are you??! We have the sea right outside our window too so you must be very close! I stand in it all day. Sometimes it is next to the house and sometimes it is far away and sometimes a seal swims by. There are no shops here either, only pine trees. I'll be going back to Suffolk soon so let me know if you want me to pick you up from Saxmundham. Lots of love Plum xxx
Dear Vicki, Bailey and Tulip, It's freezing today! I don't really care because I just want to be in the sea all day. Thank you for your nice message. I hope you are having a lovely summer. Love from Plum xxxooo
I so love your illustrations and witty stories. This one is no exception.
ReplyDeleteThat is extremely nice of you. Thank you!

I certainly will. I'm trying to try a lot of things, like lamb chops this evening, but no one would let me.
