Here are some of the daily doings of Plum and her owner.
This one is really beautiful!
Thank you very much, Ellie xx
Glad to see you're getting the hand of life in this part of the world. By the time you get to my age the mantra goes: 'Ploddety plod plod - ooo, a smell - sniff sniff - plod plod ploddety - where is he? Ah yes, over there on the horizon - Plod plod wander stroll - ah, the first rape flower. Very pleasant. Sniff sniff plod plod..'. Repeat for quite a long time. love, Katie x
Dear KatieI sometimes plod, I think. On the way to the vet mostly. But that is a mixture of plodding and nails scraping the pavement. There are lots of flowers out now so you must be stopping and sniffing all the time. Be careful not to sniff any bees.Love from Plum x
Emma, I've been following you for quite some time now and LOVE your work. I feel like you're always writing about my precious Brendel-Jo (Scottish terrier). Thank you for your inspiration - it's truly helped me along the way in developing my path for illustrating as well. Blessings!
Dear Plum, My Mum said that she loves this watercolour of you. It reminds her of when she was growing up in Holland and she used to live by a canal. I think she went all misty eyed when she was thinking of her youth, ( 294 cat years ago; just saying') either that or her seasonal allergies are acting up.Love Gracie
Dear Gracie,Sometimes I wonder if you are not a little bit mean to your mum. She is clearly a sensitive soul with an interesting past. I have gathered from what you say that she would do anything to make you happy, and I think you do love her very much but perhaps you don't always show it? Today is the day! Give her a big purry show of appreciation and snuggle up to her. Give it all you've got. Forget about being a cat for a little while (I know about your "treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen" strategies) and let me know how it goes down.Love fromPlum x
Rubber pad flooring offers a number of the advantages. It may be used in home areas in addition to for the actual commercial qualities. Rubber mat flooring
I'm re-reading this beautiful blog--I know this was posted 6 years ago but all this time later I find it so lovely I have to say so all over again even though mine was one of the first comments enjoying it. So evocative and beautiful. Thanks for this! You have made many people happy with this and I hope you know that--this one's from a Scotland-loving Texan who knows just how Plum feels when she gets to the Scottish shore.
I'm doing the same Ellie. Re-reading the blog with my little old dog by my side in Australia :)
