Oh Plum; I am so very envious of you right now! Here is Toronto it is -11C and we had snow again yesterday when I woke up. I think spring has been cancelled for Toronto, and my Mum is getting pretty ratty about it as well. By this time of year I should be snoozing on my deck chair on the balcony and meowing at my Mum to come and deliver cuddles on demand. Be nice to Emma, having the house in a tip isn't easy for humans, and if she is one eyed and crotchety right now it could have a detrimental effect on the number of treats being delivered to you. Just saying
Good advice as usual, Gracie. You are very wise. And also accurate about the treats. I have got so much dust up my nose from the house being a tip, I can't stop sneezing. When will it ever end? And what's the point? I liked it before. Love Plum.
That Plum is a poet is not a surprise, Her blog is poetic and winsome and wise, It's a blog from a dog who gives to her blog her all, And not like this duffer who only writes doggerel.
You are the King of Doggerel. I wish I could do it so quickly as you. It takes me about a week to make two words rhyme. Today is Mother's day so I wrote Happy Mother's Day, Mum, Love from Plum.
Dear Plum, Your poem made our day as much as the picture. Thank you, I'm much better after a visit to the vet. It's great to feel well again, and soon I won't even have to look for pills in my lunch and spit them out. Are you going to Emma's talk at Daunt Books? If so, try and grab me a raspberry flapjack. (I've got a thing about oats). love, Katie

Dear Katie, there were flapjacks everywhere. The toddlers kept dropping them and it made up for having to listen to the boring old stories. Love Plum
