    1. That is the first poem anyone has ever written about me. I am so touched. Thank you very much. I have learnt it by heart and I say it in my head all the time. It gives me a lot of confidence. It is my new mantra. Love Plum.

  2. Dear Plum,

You are so lucky to have such a talented and versatile PA/ chauffeur/ personal stylist in Emma. Every doglet should have one.

    1. Dear Biff,
I know. She is quite good. I suppose I will have to give her a Christmas bonus. I think she probably expects it. I gave her a stick last year so I'm a bit stuck for ideas. What are you giving yours? Is she any good?

  3. Dear Plum,
Could I point out that it was Gracie who started our correspondence by writing to me to tick me off for accusing cats of 'skulking'? Anyway sorry, and hooray the book is on the way! love, Katie

    1. Dear Katie,
I didn't mean to sound so grumpy. I don't know what came over me. Sometimes I get like that when I've been waiting all day for things.

  4. Dear Plum,
I love your red bow. It makes you look very chic; just like a French dog, but without the attitude.
My Mum made me wear a red organza bow last Christmas for a little while (10 minutes) but I protested (LOUDLY) until I found out there would be treats. By that time I was willing to wear the bow but my Mum felt so guilty that she took it off anyway. I still got treats so it was win/win in my book.
Meaghan never has to get dressed for company; she just hides under the bed. I have to entertain my adoring public on my own.
Please make sure you sell your book in Canada so my Mum can buy it and read it to me. I hope it's a juicy tell all about your family and friends! I suspect Esther has a few skeletons in her closet ( mice, voles, the occasional rabbit).

    Love Gracie.

    1. Dear Gracie,
You are right about Esther. She has a huge collection of old bones as well. And she guards them.
I hope you won't have to wear a ribbon at Christmas. I have a horrid feeling that I will.
      Love Plum
