How dare that scoundrel steal your perfect stick! You look so happy with it in Emma's lovely picture. Hopefully, one day, we can find some good sticks together. Love Biff
I am so sorry to hear about your experience. All I can say is that there will be more and better sticks in your future. That one probably broke as soon as that nasty dog ran off with it, and there is an even better stick waiting for you to find it - maybe even tomorrow!
Dear Plum, If you'd got the stick home, you would probably have settled down to eat it. Then just as the splinters were starting to flow nicely somebody would have said: 'No Plum, give me that or you'll choke!' And then after a frustrating wrestle the stick would be in the wheelie bin. I reckon you had the best of that stick. A soothing thought for a winter's day. love Katie
You know what they say, Plum - plenty more sticks in the sea. Which would actually combine two of your favorite things!

Dearest Plum, I hope that you might get another equally special stick for Christmas.
