Dear Plum, Gosh! What a glamorous life you lead in the big city. Yesterday I had a little walk, slept for five hours on James's bed, had lunch, went to town on the bus, had a needle stuck in me, slept for three hours on James's bed, had tea, lay in the hall for a while and then it was off to dreamland. Mind you we're not entirely without glamour out here in the country. Claudia Schiffer lives up the road, and often smiles at me from her Land Rover. We met her once and she said hello. Funny old world, isn't it? love, Katie
You're so lucky to get a squeaky pig! I quite enjoy entertaining my Mums friends when they come over as well, I get all the attention I deserve and sometimes I get presents as well. My Auntie Kathy brings salmon or tuna treats and sometimes I get fleece mice stuffed with catnip and hibiscus flowers. This week I am not getting all the attention because my sister Meaghan is sick and she had to go to the vet so I am supposed to be nice to her and not run around or chew on her ears. Meaghan is getting all the special food and I keep getting told to behave myself and settle down. Really! Sometimes I think my Mum doesn't know me at all.
Lucky girl! Enjoy yourself!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I WILL...!
DeleteAren't you lucky to have such a lovely present :-)
ReplyDeleteI know! I am lucky. And it still has it's squeaker INSIDE it. And I haven't chewed it's ears off yet.

It's quite tiring, actually. But today was so, so boring. Love Plum

Tell that Meaghan not to make such a fuss. And chew her ears if you want to. I wish I could. Love Plum
ReplyDeleteDear Plum,
ReplyDeleteWow – your London life is so whirly. AND you get your own chair at book club. Hope they listen to what you have to say.
