  1. Oh Plum, how mean of them! And Brora? What sort of name is that anywayss? Andrea says her perfect dog is half bedlington half whippet. (She doesn;t care how offensive she can be sometimes!). And we sometimes meet the PRETTIEST little whippet girl up the woods if we go early enough in the morning. Her name is Judy but she will NOT let me catch her to try and make friends. Whippets! They think they are it!

    1. Thank you for telling me that. It's okay now because they've gone and I have a new friend called Lily. She is a springer spaniel and she's only 7 months old so I can boss her around as much as I like.

    1. Hallo Brora. Sorry, you weren't supposed to read that. I hope you didn't read the other thing I wrote above this. We miss you really and I like your new blog. It's not hot here anymore but I have a sore foot from the mussel beds.

  3. I think those whippetty dogs were a little thoughtless. You are more than welcome to come and toast your furs with me here in Toronto. My Mum has some nice chairs out on our (MY) balcony and I shift from one to the other and sometimes lie under one for a change of pace. It was 36 celsius with a humidex value of 45 celsius today. My Mum freaks out and tries to force me to come inside but I never want to. She tricks me by opening my treats bag and when I run in for a snack she runs to the balcony door and closes it. Just because she likes to be air conditioned shouldn't mean I have to be; Humans can be very underhanded when they want to be!

    1. Dear Toasty Gracie. We are booking our flights! I hope you have some suncream on your ears. What colour are they? I can only see the front of them in your picture. It's all right if they're not white I think because I saw a picture of a cat with no ears because they got burnt by the sun. I agree with you about humans. Love Plum.

  4. Dear Plum,
Och aye the noo to you. So how IS Scotland? I'm glad you're having such an interesting holiday, but I thought you might need a little warning. If they take you to a large piece of water in the hills called Loch Ness, DO NOT GO IN. I won't tell you why because I don't want to give you bad dreams, but STAY ON THE SHORE. No reason, just BE CAREFUL!!!!! Apart from that have a super time.
    love, Katie
PS. As you can tell I am a complete coward.

    1. Dear Katie, I don't like the sound of that at all. There are lots of seals here and someone told me they ate a labrador! But I am much quicker than a labrador and I have sharp little teeth so I would bite them and bite them until they ran away crying.
      Love from
      Plum.
