Middle Of The Night

  1. Dear Plum,
I expect Emma thought it was worth getting up to see that beautiful dusky light. Or perhaps not. Anyway, do you think the cub was all right? James x

    1. Yes, I think he was perfectly all right. He had his whole family howling and yowling all through the night. Plum xx

  2. Wow! I bet that was something special to see. Fox cubs look cute and innocent from the pictures out there. Emma now knows you know what your doing when you hear noises at night. I hope you both went back to bed and slept well after that. xoxoxo Vicki and Tulip

    1. Well, it wasn't quite like that because when I see foxes I am usually too excited to sleep and that sometimes keeps Emma awake and then she is sometimes quite grumpy in the morning.

  4. Emma should have let you out....you might have made a new friend! Wwe don't have foxies here, just coyotes. Sometimes in the middle of the night I hear them having some pretty wild goings-on in the river valley behind my house. I suspect their mothers don't know they are out that late at night...

    1. I would love to meet a coyote. You are lucky not to have smelly foxes. Although sometimes they leave food in my garden. Once I found a whole cooked chicken, still in it's wrapping paper.
      Love Plum xxx
