So There!

  1. Ha Ha! It sounds like karma and your digestive system finally caught up with Emma and your Daddy!
I hope they will both think twice before they blame you for their own gaseous excesses next time.
I love haddock and chips, but my Mum doesn't like to share. I hope you enjoyed every last bit of them.

    Love, Gracie

  2. Oh, Plum! You make me smile!

My Giorgi (a 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier enjoying a life almost as adventurous as yours) also adores fish and chips (and meat and spaghetti, and shepherd's pie, and roast chicken and potatoes, and... you get the picture), and although he doesn't often get wrongly accused for making a bad smell, he feels very hard done by when blamed for other things he clearly wasn't responsible for. He is our go-to guy when we are loathe to admit something. But that is because we love him so!

Big belly scratch from Ellie (and lick from Giorgi)

  3. Dear Emma, Ellie and Gracie's Mom,
Thank you so much for your supportive messages about Katie. These first days without her have been hard, and every bit of sympathy is a great help. It's only when a dog goes that you realise how much you do for them, and how much they do for you.
Now then, Plum. I see the point you're making, but I really don't think there is any excuse for this kind of behaviour. Fortunately Katie's problems were more at the other end. She was the world's noisiest eater. At mealtimes, she always used to remind me of some kind of small hairy machine. She progressed raucously from one side of the bowl to the other, and when all the slurping and crunching and scattering of crumbs had ceased, she would take a step back and give a single loud burp. It's the little things you miss.
    Love to you all, James

  5. How does the saying go, dear Plum? "Revenge is a dish best served gaseous." I'm sure you taught your mom and dad an important lesson. I'm proud of you.

Sorry about the deleted comment, by the way. A virtual canine ate an 'a'; it wasn't my fault. ;o)
