Plum, you are a lucky pup, getting to run wild with all your pals! I know you don't mind a little wind and rain sometimes. Be glad you arn't baking here in Texas with the 99 F degree heat! We are most thankful for air conditioning. Run while you can! xoxoxox Vicki and Tulip
Wow! Vicki and Tulip! 99F is so, so hot! You must be frying. I think I almost prefer dreary grey clouds and drizzle. I don't suppose you get much of that. I think it's a bit warmer in England and we'll be back there soon. Love Plum xxxxxx
Dear Plum, Now you have your pack around you perhaps you don't worry so much about losing Emma. Try not to do so anyway though, because we would all miss her. love, James PS. We've now had five days of summer in England. I'll try and hang onto it until you get back.
I don't know which one of your friends in the picture is Tipple but I like her (his?) name. Over here, to tipple is the same as "having a wee nip of the grape". Is that what it means there too? Is Tipple a drinking kind of dog?

Dear James,
DeleteThat would be very kind. We are nearly coming back and it would be so nice to see a blue sky again.

ReplyDeleteIt means the same here - but frankly, she doesn't need a drink. She is the black spaniel and she's quite sparkly enough already.
