I agree with everything you write (because I think you are gorgeous).
When my human goes out, she leaves the television on, usually showing French political debates. She thinks because I'm French, I might be interested. I am NOT: who wants to listen to lots of crazy humans barking over each other?
I sit in the window and wait until she comes home. And then I ignore her. We have to let our humans know when they've let us down.
Awwww, poor Plum!!! I'm sure you could've gone with them too. You'd know just how to behave in a restaurant or cinema, I'm sure. Silly humans, spoiling the fun... P.S. This is the CUTEST drawing Emma!
Plum, it's SO UNFAIR! Andrea puts Radio 4 on when she leaves me too! She hasnt once ASKED me what I would like to listen to! (Although she mostly listens to Radio 3 herself so I suppose I should be greatful for small mercies?) Last week she put R4 Extra on by mistake and I quite liked that, less arguing! She also leaves some small treats in a rubber cone- shaped thingy, which makes them a bit tricky to get at them. I suppose she thinks I find it amusing! She means well I am sure. Lots of love, Boy the Bedlington x
Dear Plum, I used to suffer this way, but rest assured it gets better as you grow older. I was left for the whole afternoon yesterday and it was lovely. I didn't have to go for any walks, I had the choice of chairs, and there was no conversation to wake me up. Bliss! love, Katie
This is so sad, poor Plum!! But Emma has to go out sometimes too to places you'd hate. Be grateful for Radio 4 I say...and how are you with music? They could try Classic FM!
Crumpets, I wonder if Radio 4 realises that the evening audience is largely dogs? (I do it for Otto too.) Perhaps they might want to reconsider the relevance of Front Row - surely that's just rubbing salt in the wound? kB

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel Plum, when I was young and lived in Holland all I got was Radio Luxembourg.
