Love, Actually, Probably

  1. Dear Plum, you are so lucky finding love even if you are rather fickle. Bella and Pippa live so far away I don't see them very often. Tilly at the park is interested in me but she is a ball thief so I treat her with contempt. Love Alf x

    1. Dear Alf,
You are quite right about ball thieves. I find them maddening. Why don't they bring their own balls?
I'm not really fickle, Alf. I just find that my head gets swayed rather easily. If you were here, maybe things would be different.

  2. Ooh is Larry a Bedlington like me?! I think you would like me too (even though I am on the scruffy end of the bedlington spectrum, as my kind mum refuses to have me titivated too much once cold weather sets in). I carry a very large torch for you, you know. Boy the Bedlington (and Andrea)

    1. Dear Boy,
      (and Andrea)
You sound heavenly. Larry is a Bedlington. How clever of you to recognise him. I don't think he ever has a haircut. I'm not having one again while it's so cold either, so I expect you'd find me terribly scruffy now too. You and I would look very good together. Oh Boy. Thank you for your heart-tingling message. Sorry I took so long to reply.

    1. Dear Ellie and Giorgi,
They are both so dashing and HOT, don't you think? But my heart belongs to Larry... And Jakey... And Rocket...

  4. Be gentle with them, Plum. Poppy is obsessed with an elderly West Highland Terrier who lives round the corner. He looks quite alarmed as she bounces across and kisses him all over and lies down in front of him. We men need a gentle hand, or paw. love, James

    1. It's me who needs a gentle hand, James. I am in great danger of losing my heart altogether.

  5. Ah, yes. The attraction of a male you can look up to...who could resist? I fell for a tall drink of water myself - I felt quite dainty and feminine next to his 6'4" inches of manly height.
Are you even old enough to date yet, Plum dear? I never suspected you were such a flirt! >:-)

  6. Dear Hilarie,
I am actually almost 56 in dog years so I have been on one or two dates in my time. I know exactly what you mean by a tall drink of water. I knew one who wore pink trousers and a yellow jersey. He was very pale and watery. I didn't go out with him but he took quite a fancy to me.
