    1. Dear Guy,
The Poo Museum doesn't seem to be happening after all. I think she's gone off the idea. She does have rather strange notions from time to time. Love Plum xxx

  2. Dear Wondering Plum and Wonderful Emma,
I really can't think of anything to say about this. Perhaps it is my sheltered upbringing. I would refer all further enquiries to Chris Packham, and any regular viewer of 'Springwatch' will know what I mean by that.

    1. Dear James, Sorry we have been so slow. You'll be glad to know that Emma has stopped collecting poo, but I am keeping an eye on her.

  3. Dear Plum,

I'm so sorry I haven't written to you lately, my secretary has been too busy to take dictation.
I am worried that you have been sick for so long and Emma must be too, that's why she is collecting poo. (I'm a poet and I know it). Please feel better soon, it hurts my heart to think you are unwell, even if you are a dog. You are my only true dog friend.

    Love, Gracie

    1. Dear Gracie,
Thank you for your sweet, kind words. I was sick for a long time, you're right, and I'm still not completely perfect, but I'm much better. Emma says I'm 'vulnerable', whatever that means. You really are a very special friend. My only, ever cat friend.
      Love from Plum xx

  5. Sometimes there is just no understanding why humans do what they do. If Emma starts ROLLING in your poop, call me. Until then just keep an eye on her....it could be that the spring air is making her go a little nuts.

    1. I have seen her do some weird things but so far, not that. Thank you for your concern though. It's good to have another opinion. Love Plum x

  7. I know, right? You would think that for a species so obsessed with baths, which are so very, very UNNECESSARY, that they would leave the yucky stuff behind, but nooooooo..... Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better, but if you want to fake a while longer to get more yummy chicken suppers, I promise not to tell a soul. And to my mom who is writing this, no, I would never ever do anything like that, just possibly suggesting that someone ELSE might.

    Love and kisses,
    Nick

    1. Dear Nick,
They are simply quite peculiar. It's a relief to me to know that I am not the only one who has to put up with so much eccentric behaviour. I'm still on the chicken and rice and nobody knows what's wrong with me, so it may be a while yet.

  8. Shh Plum - just a private thought....If you're really keen on staying on chicken and rice (and which of us isnt?), can I recommend the additional consumption of a red paper napkin.... It may have the downside of another sudden rush to the vet, but it definitely guarantees continuation of pampered invalid status - and also of more rightly respectful collecting of poo.....
Don't tell anyone I said so though... xx F
