  1. She may be bigger that you but you're faster and sneakier.

    1. Yes, you are right. I am very, very fast. But she is big and if she lands on me, I am flattened. So, she always wins everything. But I have a plan.

  2. Dear Plum,
How very exasperating. I hope the lovely trees provided some degree of solace.
I am so pleased Emma has been enjoying my blog, which reassures me I am doing something right. Please remind her it's updated on Monday and Thursday. I am floundering hopelessly with digital technology trying to promote it - help! James

    1. Dear James,
I am surprised you are having trouble with technology because you are a bloke and I always thought blokes could do everything like that. Emma is completely hopeless, but that doesn't surprise me at all.

  3. Dear Plum, tell her that sharing is better than not sharing and that sometimes my sisters don't share with me! Love Guy XX

    1. Dear Guy,
I am ALWAYS telling her that but she won't listen. I always have to share my toys with her because she is bigger than me and, actually, she can fit my whole head in her mouth. She did it once. It felt quite strange.

  4. Dear Plum, I have a dog at home called Peppa. She is a funny mix of dogs but she has got Jack Russell in and Foxy. She likes squeaky toys almost as much as you do!

    1. Dear Immy,
How nice to meet you and hear about Peppa. How did she get to be part foxy? Does she smell nice like foxes do?
I do love squeaky toys but I always take the squeaker out and then they are not so lovely which is a bit disappointing.

  5. Dear Plum, I had to share my ball with my best friend Bella this weekend. Most of the time I can chase after it and get it first but Bella cheats and can guess where it will get thrown to then beats me to it. Sometimes maybe I'm not so keen on border collies.

    1. I'm very sympathetic. It's very hard to put up with that kind of sneaky behaviour, and I applaud you for being so sanguine about it. I am on your side entirely. I know exactly how it feels.
Keep the faith and hide the ball.

  6. Dear Plum,
You may wish to remind Esther that if she doesn't share her toys she may end up having to play alone one day. It's very hard to play tug of war by ones self I hear.
I'm glad you are feeling better and that Emma doesn't have to steal your poop anymore.

    Love, Gracie

    1. Dear Gracie,
I wish you could talk to Esther. She doesn't listen to me. I think my voice only sounds like bzzzzz wzzzz weeezlie peeezlie tweety noises to her. She just shakes her great ears and runs off with EVERYTHING. I'm sure you would never do that. Do you like tug-of war?

    2. I enjoy watching tug of war but don't play, it would interfere with my many naps.
