Here are some of the daily doings of Plum and her owner.
HURRAH FOR PLUM DOG! (although I still rather like Michael ;-)
We LOVE him too!
Oh, and in case anyone want to find out more about the festival, all the details are here: http://www.fcbg.org.uk/festival-of-childrens-literature/ Thanks again Emma!
We thought we spotted Plum making a cameo in Pinocchio but we might've been mistaken :)
It was nearly Plum, but the illustrator didn't quite have the nerve to make it really Plum...
Plum - Michael Morpurgo is my hero. I am sure he does like you very much. I know it is upsetting, and I am upset too as I can't go up to Birmingham to see him and Emma and I REALLY wanted to. I think you are so lucky to see him and MEET him IN PERSON. That is one of my big ambitions!I am going to see him on the 10th at the National Theatre though. One day maybe I will see you there too?
Unfortunately we missed that. But one day I hope we'll all get together. xx
And when IS your book coming out, Plum? I want a copy!
It's coming out next October with Jonathan Cape! xx
Plum dear, I suspect that Mr Morpurgo prefers horses to dogs. Just saying.
Actually, I know he secretly ADORES me. Love Plum x
LOL Plum is hilarious :)thanks for brightening my day
Thank you for saying that. It brightened mine.
Never mind Plum, I still thank that's a subliminal representation of you on the cover. So you will be there in spirit. James and I will certainly come to your one-dog show. However he says he is a vegetarian, so could he have some tofu frankfurters instead? Thanks for your help with this. love, Katie
Dear Katie, frankfurters is a good idea. I'm not sure about tofu though. Is it like toffee?Love Plum
